Join Montaluce’s Winery manager, Oliver Asberger, for a day of food, wine, and river rafting on North Georgia’s beautiful Chestatee River.
The day will start at 1:30 at Montaluce Winery with a tour of the state of the art Winery. The winery resembles a Tuscan villa complete with wine making facilities, a full service restaurant, and meeting facilities. The decor and atmosphere will make you feel like you’ve traveled to Tuscany for the day.
Asberger will lead a tour of the facilities with a entertaining insiders look at winemaking.
The tour will be followed by a tasting of Montaluce’s 2008 vintage. Gather at Montaluce’s 65′ wine bar to enjoy Montaluce’s own chardonnay, viognier, and rose’ wines. The wines are excellent and you’ll enjoy Oliver’s expertise and humor.
Afterward, we’ll head out for a day on the Chestatee River with Huck Finn River Tours. Huck Finn is Dahlonega’s premier river expedition guide company with years of experience leading groups down the beautiful Chestatee river. This professionally guided river expedition is safe for all ages. The Chestatee river is beautiful and and water cool!
